Whitby, Ontario - The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) and the Regional Municipality of Durham (Durham Region or the Region) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, that could see the CIB invest up to $68 million to support Durham Region Transit's (DRT) purchase of up to 100 battery electric buses by 2027.

June 20, 2022 service updates

Whitby, Ontario – This June, Durham Region Transit (DRT) services will be updated to include our seasonal service extension to the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park, and to the Ajax Waterfront. Other changes include extending PULSE 901 and route N2 north to Winfield Farms, and reinstating service every 10 minutes on PULSE 901 on weekdays.
When: Service updates will begin on Monday, June 20, 2022.
