WHITBY, ON (April 23, 2018) – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is taking steps to further increase ridership in 2018. In addition to continuing to improve the Region’s transit network, DRT is implementing exciting ridership growth initiatives, which include freezing most fares and piloting two new summer youth and family-focused fare incentives.This year’s nearly 11,000 hours of service enhancements include:- Increased bus service on DRT’s High-Frequency Network.- New bus service in growth areas.-...

WHITBY, ON (March 2, 2018) – Durham Region Transit’s (DRT) annual Public Information Centres (PIC) are kicking off on March 6, in Whitby, and wrapping up on March 24, in Pickering. Residents are encouraged to come out to meet service planning staff and provide feedback as DRT begins planning for 2019. WHITBY, ON – Durham Region Transit is once again making it easy to celebrate New Year’s Eve safely. On Sunday, Dec. 31, after 8 p.m., residents and visitors to the Region can ride DRT for free!
