Whitby, Ontario – This March, Durham Region Transit (DRT) service will be modified to increase frequency, adjust routings and restore trips that were temporarily reduced.

When: Service updates will begin on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Service delays due to weather

Whitby, Ontario – Due to inclement weather, services are delayed as Durham Region Transit (DRT) operators are using extra caution as they travel at reduced speeds, reflecting weather conditions. 

When: Monday, January 17, 2022.

Where: The following services are impacted due to weather conditions: 

  • DRT services across the Region are delayed.
  • On Demand service in rural and urban communities is suspended until tomorrow.
  • Specialized transit non-essential travel is unavailable.
  • Overnight service is cancelled.

January 3, 2022 and January 10, 2022 service updates
