WHITBY, ON – Feb. 24 – Durham Region Transit (DRT) has its sights set on Advancing Transit in Durham and will once again be holding annual Public Information Centres (PIC) across the Region, beginning March 8 and wrapping up on March 29. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide input on DRT’s 2017 Service Plan. New this year, the annual Service Plan will be guided by the recently released Five-Year and Rural-North Service Strategies. Attendees will also be able to discuss 2016 service improvements.
Residents of Durham Region can view the Five-Year and Rural-North Service Strategies online at durhamregiontransit.com or in person at one of 11 Public Information Centres. Residents and DRT customers are also encouraged to provide input into proposed 2017 actions by completing a brief survey available at the PICs and online.
