Back to SearchWe are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for students to connect with Durham Region Transit (DRT) this September! DRT will be visiting Durham College and Trent University in late August and throughout the month of September.
Our DRT Ambassadors will be on site to help students learn how to navigate to their campus and Durham Region, whether commuting to school, work, exploring local attractions, or simply enjoying a leisurely trip. At each orientation, students will have the opportunity to:
- Gather information about DRT routes, schedules, and services.
- Consult with DRT representatives to plan transit routes.
- Learn more about the U-Pass and other student benefits.
- Receive guidance on the convenient Transit app for real-time updates.
DRT will be at Durham College and Trent University on the following dates:
Location: Durham College @ Whitby Welcome Orientation – Whitby Campus
Date: Thursday, August 31
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Durham College @ DC’s Start Strong Saturday – Oshawa Campus
Date: Saturday, September 2
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Durham College @ DC Fest – Oshawa campus, South Village Courtyard
Date: Tuesday, September 5
Time: Noon to 4 p.m.
Location: Trent University
Date: Thursday, September 7, and Friday, September 8
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Durham College @ Get Involved and Services Fair – Whitby campus
Date: Tuesday, September 19
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
