WHITBY, ON – Durham Region Transit (DRT) will once again be holding its annual Public Information Centres (PIC) across the Region. This year, there will be a record 14 sessions, beginning March 16, in Oshawa, and wrapping up on April 4, in Brock. People will have the opportunity to provide input on DRT’s 2018 Service Plan, as well as discuss 2017 improvements, including the High-Frequency Network, new Saturday service in the north and new service to growth areas.
Service changes align with DRT’s Five-Year and Rural-North Service Strategies, which can be viewed online at durhamregiontransit.com or in person at the PICs. Everyone is encouraged to provide input on proposed 2018 actions by attending the sessions in person or by using #DRT2018 on social media.
