WHITBY, ON (March 2, 2018) – Durham Region Transit’s (DRT) annual Public Information Centres (PIC) are kicking off on March 6, in Whitby, and wrapping up on March 24, in Pickering. Residents are encouraged to come out to meet service planning staff and provide feedback as DRT begins planning for 2019.
Information will also be available on the 2018 Service Plan, which focuses on providing improvements to the High Frequency Network, continued extension of services to new communities and employment areas, and providing extra capacity to the busiest transit routes. The 2018 Service Plan presents an investment of nearly 11,000 new annualized service hours.
